Located on the East Bank in the old General Store, the General Deli & Cafe is a comfy and casual venue serving up your basic favorites with a local flare.

I love visiting this cafe! It has a friendly vibe, great food, and Toccoa Coffee. They feature our Bardstown Espresso and several of our single origins. The staff are well trained and can prepare your drink to your expectations. The food is delicious and if you are looking for vegan, The General has a nice selection of vegan options on their menu. You will love the look inside their building. They recently remodeled and exposed the natural brick that provides for a nice backdrop for the artwork they display.
